During this 2-days event, apart from introducing our service to potential clients in Phnom Penh, I

We are now a member of Association Of Wedding Professionals Malaysia (AWP)

Few days right before we ushered in the year of rabbit, I received a good news that Andy Wang Cinematography’s application to be a member of The Association of Wedding Professionals Malaysia (AWP) has been approved.
AWP is the first and only membership service organization designed for wedding vendors in Malaysia, with the aims to help protect the vendors while improve quality of service to wedding couples.
AWP’s other members come from a different b
ackground and industry, for instance, wedding planners, florists, musicians and photographers, to name a few. And they are all the top wedding vendors in Malaysia too!

Same Day Edit Wedding Video

Recently we have received many enquiries on same day edit (SDE) so I thought it would be a good idea to give an insight into this service that we are offering.
As explained by the name, same day edit (which is also known as express edit) refers to a short highlight video clip that we edit right after the morning ceremony, to be played during the wedding reception which is also held on the same day.
Editing is the most time consuming work, if not the most important part in any wedding video production. It may takes days to complete 5 minutes highlight video clip. However, when come across SDE, we will never be able to enjoy such luxury time.
Right after the morning ceremony is ended, the editor will take over this stressful job:
1. Firstly, we need to transfer all the raw files from the memory card into the laptop / desktop computer immediately. It takes approximately ½ hour to copy from one memory card, in another words, if you have two cinematographers, it will take an hour.
2. Secondly, cutting the most precious shots, add in effects / transitions, adding text, import own music from CDs or hard disk, trim the scene to fit into the audio tracks.
3. Once is completed, playback the video clip to ensure the transition is smooth before export it to a video format, MPEG and burn it into DVD.
Again, each video is unique by itself and therefore, minimum 4-hour time is needed for production. To find out more about the charges, please email andy@andywang.com.my or call 012-4733 858.
