How I get to know this couple, again, is an affirmation of support and recognition from Alex’s family, as I captured his sister’s wedding at 5 years ago.
Alex is one of the rare groom that I ever met. Just like what is written on his cuff link, he is a doctor but trust him, he is a very good wedding planner too. Surprise you not, Alex actually plan A-Z for this celebration.
I am sure if Alex decided to quit his job as a surgeon one day later, he can be a successful wedding planner too.
Though December is peak season for us at Andy Wang Cinematography and traveling up and down from north to central is tiring, but we love this highlight that was edited by our new member Jing Han. This was played during the second reception back in Penang two days after the actual day in KL. Each wedding film has its own story behind… hope everyone will enjoy it.

Wedding Celebration Of Liz Tan & Phei Lip in Pangkor Island Resort

The extended long weekend was a fruitful and meaningful one for us at Andy Wang Cinematography. Apart from the opening of our showroom at Wisma Central which received an overwhelming response from partners and clients, we also joined Phee Lip and Liz Tan for their big day at Pangkor Island Resort on the Merdeka Day.
I kinda admire this couple’s love story for it is such a special and lovely one. Two knows each other since primary school but only get into a relationship back in 2002. However, due to work, Liz has to base in KL and Phee Lip is in KL. This long distance relationship last for 9 years before it enters into another new chapter.
To Phee Lip and Liz, hope you two will love this same day edit video which will be showcased during your reception in Penang. Of course, not to forget also to thanks for the trust and friendship. May your love story lasts forever and ever, cheers.

In recent years, outdoor weddings ie garden or beach become the most favorite of many couples. This is especially proven as Andy Wang Cinematography has involved a lot in outdoor wedding assignments in these two years.
For something different, my church-mates Alvin and Yanti had their holy matrimony at one of the Penang’s most sough after hotel, Lone Pine. We were once worried for the unpredictable weather but thanks be to God, everything went on smoothly. It’s just such an another beautiful yet lovely wedding that I hope you will like it too.

A Majestic Matrimony Of Eida & Wayne Smith

He comes from the States; she hails from Penang. One day, the met and there begins a ‘fusion’ love story.
Although both comes from different family background, culture and religion, but it doesn’t stop their love from sparkling all around the air.
Thanks Eida and Wayne for putting trust on our work, Andy Wang Cinematography was appointed as their official wedding videographer during their wedding celebration held in Penang.
Frankly speaking, we were very excited about this wedding as it is our very first Malay wedding assignment. The 3 days celebration started off with Akad Nikah, follow ing by malam ber
inai, majlis merenjis and ended in style with a dinner reception for family and friends.
I can’t express how exhausted we are but still, I just can’t stop myself from sharing this lovely wedding highlight with everyone before I am off for a short break with my lovely wife.

How we met Chuin How & Alan is such an unforgettable experience. I first receive Chuin How’s call all the way from Hong Kong at about a month before their actual wedding day.Without wasting much time, Chuin How confirmed the booking three days later although our charges is higher than other cinematographers that she had inquired before. you know why we were chosen? As per Chuin How, she and her fiancé Alan love our works and understand that we are using using expensive range of equipments for the best quality. Really appreciate it.
This is beautiful sunset was held at ParkRoyal Hotel, Penang, one of my favourite wedding venues in Penang. It started with bridal make up followed by some portrait shots around the hotel before the tea ceremony and dinner begin. Thank’s to be God for the good weather on the day which allows everything going
on smoothly. I guess this blessing is certainly one of the best wedding presents make Chuin How and Alan. And this is wedding highlight too… cheers…

Carven Ong is a name that no longer strange ub wedding industry, especially to any bride-to-be. But I only get to know this very friendly Taiping-born’s international fashion designer during my trip to Cambodia early this year.
Not long after our return to Malaysia, Carven contacted me to film for his students’ fashion show in Sungei Wang Plaza, Frankly speaking, I have not film any “cat walk” before. I was truly excited to be invited by Carven who has trust in me. This filming experience is something new to me too, as it is completely different from filming a wedding. Anyway, isn’t that life is all about learning?

Indian Wedding Of Dr Amaleswaran & Naziah in Park Royal Hotel, Penang

For those who follow Perfect Moments Studio’s blog, I am sure you have seen the wedding day slideshow of Dr. Amale and Naziah that we posted earlier. So today, I would like to share their wedding highlight with you.
It was such a challenge to edit this video because of the song chosen. As usual, I asked this newly-wed if they have any specific song in their mind for the editing, because I believe that it forms their very own’s wedding video. When I first played this song, I knew this editing is going to be very challenging for me. The only way for me to strike a balance between the video and music is to listen the song over and over again, to ‘feel’ what it means. Perhaps, only Dr. Amale and Naziah can tell me did I get it right or not.
Anyway, I must thanks again to this sweet couple of mine, for leaving me a message in Andy Wang Cinematography’s fan page.
“Thinking back of my wedding again all I can remember now is how fast it has gone by as it took months to plan. Now all I have to cherish and remember (of course my wife as well) are the photos and videos Andy and his team made.
It was truly a blessing in disguise meeting Andy and fixing him as our official video and photographer in the first meeting itself.
Despite the obstacles they faced as in weather, timing and place, differences of background and culture and tight schedule in keeping up their customers request or orders they always put up a genuine smile despite being lethargic and were always punctual and committed to their task as if it’s their own wedding ceremony.

The Magical Wedding Of Carmen & Alex @ Rasa Sayang Resort, Penang

And in reality, ‘Ginny’ @ Carmen and her prince charming ‘Harry’ @ Alex tied their knot in the wizard world of Harry Potter.

I was so excited and really look forward to be part of Carmen and Alex’s big day ever since the first time we met (while kept my finger crossed that they will confirm me as their wedding cinematographer). My prayer was answered.
There was a last minute changes on the plan due to Batu Feringghi area was raining like cats and dogs on that day evening. I felt so sad for the couple, as they had to shift the ceremony to indoor instead.
Anyhow, this didn’t stop the two lovebirds from enjoying their big day.
Harry Potter was everywhere. As a big fan of Harry Potter, Carmen had imported quite a number of merchandise items from the States, which were used to create the atmosphere. Also that yummy-licious wedding cake, you know, I just can’t stop myself from admiring it. Not to mention Alex who was transformed as Harry
Carmen and Alex, it’s great to be with you at this magical wedding. Both of you will sure be the first thing that come into my mind whenever I come across Harry Potter.
And I am pretty sure the magic of Harry Potter will bind you two till eternity, loving each other forever and ever. Congratulations again on the well-planned magical wedding, kudos.
2011 New Year Resolution

A very happy belated new year to each and everyone. I guess I am not too late, especially since this is my very first entry for year 2011.
I know this blog has been neglected for quite some time, as schedule is really packed since November last year till end of January, which is few days right before we usher in Year of the Rabbit. The most frustrating thing that happened at this time is two pc were ‘sick’causing slow down the progress of editing work.
Well, back to this blog. Tell you, one of my new year resolutions is to blog more often and share the latest works with everyone. So to kick this off, here is a Same Day Edit (SDE) that we did last weekend to celebrate Sarah and Joe Chong’s big day in Ipoh.
